Sen. Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma joined me on Newstalk KRMG on Sunday night. He talked with us in depth about the NDAA, Obamacare and the budget deal.
He says he’s a “no” vote at this time on the budget deal. The primary reason is the “shell games” being played with military benefits. His passion is the NDAA and recently gave a speech on the floor of the senate outlining the consequences of getting this wrong.
He’s also introduced a bill with Mike Lee of Utah to protect organizations from sanctions from the federal government if they don’t provide for same-sex marriage benefits.
Editor’s note: I’ve interviewed Sen. Inhofe a few times over the years, but never for more than a few minutes. This is an in depth interview and shows his depth of knowledge on the issues and his passions. Inhofe is up for re-election this year.
